Immersion Sturgeon Waterproof Contact Microphone

The Immersion Sturgeon is the amphibious version of our Classic Noir Contact Mic. By adding a layer of silicone "skin" to the microphone component, we've created a hydrophone for all of your sub-marine needs. While this type of mic won't pick up enemy sonar or whale songs, the waterproofing will allow for the contact mic to be submerged, dragged through mud puddles, frozen & thawed, or served with mixed drinks. The 6' cable provides enough wiggle room for aquatic experiments without getting your gear wet.

PS. Occasionally the silicone we use for waterproofing will tint the piezo element. Do not be alarmed!
