Piezorchard Multi-Tendril Contact Mic Forest

The Piezorchard is a multi-tendril contact mic forest, consisting of three performable piezo trees that are plugged into a junction box vase. Each tree consists of three piezo contact mics, measuring approximately 7-9 inches, terminated to a single quarter inch plug. We add a little silicone to protect each piezo, securing the sets with heavy duty heat shrink tubing. The junction box "vase" features 5 quarter inch jacks plus an on/off button and measures 4 x 2.5 x 2 inches. The vase can operate with any combination of trees, as well as additional contact mics, lofi verbalizers, and transducers with similarly matched impedance.

Where to plant one's Piezorchard? Why, wherever it will flourish of course! The Piezorchard plays well with delays, reverb, and all manner of cut & paste effects. We can imagine that it will also blossom when fed into analog tape loops, bear ample fruit with live performance, and grow exceptionally well in modular environments.
